What type of franchise is available?
An individual franchise for a single unit "just drive" Driving School . We do offer agreements to develop multiple units.
What is the initial franchise fee?
Our individual franchise fee is published in our UFOC. This document will be provided to you upon request. We are considered a "value" or "low cost" opportunity. If you would like more information, please contact us directly for more information.
What is the current charge for the continuing service fee?
This service fee is based upon the size of the school district you will operate within. This information is also in our UFOC and is available upon request.
Do I have to work in the driving school?
Yes. We are an owner/operator franchise system. At least one partner has to maintain a 50 percent ownership in the operating company. One of our competitive advantages is that we are a "network of locally owned and operated schools". Our connection to the community and the customer base is through our participation in our schools as well as our local community organizations.
What about advertising?
Building the "just drive" brand recognition and reputation is an essential ongoing objective that benefits everyone. For this purpose, we have trademarked our name and logo as well as provide each new franchise with access to a well-developed catalog of marketing tools.
How much cash do I need?
Depending upon the school district you decide to license and the equipment investments you will need to make, you should plan on having $5,000 to $18,500 in cash available.
Does "just drive" help with site selection?
We offer you the freedom to choose a site that you as the owner, feel is best suited for your classes.
What size specifications are required for a "just drive" school?
The State of Wisconsin mandates that you provide 20 square feet per of classroom per student you plan to teach. Your office requirements are based upon your own personal needs.
Must I buy my promotional items from you?
Your logo items will be either purchased directly through us or from a vendor approved by us. This is just one of the ways that we support the quality of our trademark and our brand.
Do I receive training by "just drive"?
Yes. The State of Wisconsin mandates that each instructor successfully completes 40 hours of approved training. "just drive" is licensed to provide this training.
Do I receive assistance in opening my "just drive" driving school?
Yes. In addition to providing you with your initial driver's education training, just drive will walk you step by step through our business model. It is our goal that you become the most successful school that you can become. We are always available for you to contact with any ongoing operational questions.
Am I given territorial protection?
Yes. You will receive exclusive direct marketing rights to the school district you have contractually agreed upon.
How soon can I be in operation once I have signed a franchise agreement?
We estimate that there may be as little as 4 but not more than 12 weeks until you are fully operational.
How much money can I make?
Unfortunately, federal and state laws prevent us from suggesting how much money you can earn from a "just drive" driving school. The amount of money you may make will depend on many factors including the school district you operate within, local marketing and advertising, the cost of your investment, how well you manage your school and control variable costs, and other factors.
